Bay Rum Aftershave Splash and Glyserol

I'm a big user of aftershaves like Dominica, Clubman Bay Rum and also Cade that is similar but with Junipher instead of bay leafs. To keep the ASS from drying out my skin I always mix a drop of glyserin with the splash in my hands before applying. My question is, and I think someone already mentioned it in another thread. To remove the hassle of doing this every time, could this be done permanently by mixing an amount of glyserol with the splash in the bottle ? And in case, how much ? in let's say a 10 oz bottle of Dominica. Wrote this after seeing this old bottle on the bay.

I pretty much do 2 drops per Oz

What's up with the attitude? 'Splash' is a perfectly fine word to use, as it's widely used in the industry.

It would seem that an overdose of AXE commercials has a negative impact on some people's spelling and social skills. You made your point, and I agree to disagree. Good night.

I splash Pinaud Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum on my face every morning. I'd actually prefer it not to splash so well, but the stuff has no viscosity at all. So, I just splash away. :shrug:

I think fccexpert might of had a bad childhood experience with a swimming pool or something.

I can understand that a word can cause you a lot of discomfort, but that's not an acceptable reason to demand others stop using it. You can consider them uneducated, but they are free to be so, as much as you are free to use proper grammar and spelling (...or not).

Whether you like it or not language changes, or perhaps you meant not to use the word 'plash'...

I placed a palmful of Bay Rum plash on my face this morning, and I'll be darned if it didn't plash all over the place.

Personally, I rarely splash aftershaves. The possibilty of random drops being scattered about seems a waste of the liquid. I much prefer to dash some or to splatter, sprinkle, or dose a portion into my palms prior to application to my face and neck.
Mostly though I use the 1oz spray bottles I got for my colognes. Works wonderfully.

Most Bay Rums are meant to splash and splash lots. They are not a true cologne except for a few you need a lot to carry the scent. When I want to wear bay rum I splash it all over my face and chest. It carries then for awhile and smells great. St. Johns is one of the few the carry like a cologne and have a sprayer on the bottle.

Doc got a whole gallon of some Aftershave Splash at RazorCon!

My Favorite is Ogallala Bay Rum Aftershave Splash!
