i just tried the lime & peppercorn blend from ogalla a few hours ago, i love it! i did my first lather with my new brush also. i want to get my lather right before i try out my straight on the legs so i used a regular razor. even with the less than perfect quality of the razor i feel like the shave is closer than what i was getting before. lather was a bit thin but i will work on that. the lime & peppercorn bayrum scent is very nice. its works for me bc i dont like too much of the girly scents of regular shave gel anyway but it is still good for a man. also they are super nice at Ogalla & even sent an extra soap as a thank you. very good customer service as well.

Bay Rum
15straightrazor;505948]So I got the Pinaud Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum from walgreens website, and I like it, but I don't want to just settle for one without trying anymore.
So my question is, what are some good Bay Rum brands that aren't going to make me go broke. I'm not trying to spend a fortune on a bottle of aftershave. I'm looking for somthing around 25 dollars at the most I would like to spend 30.
Thanks everyone.
15straightrazor: The best, longest-lasting Bay Rum I ever found was made by Burt's Bees years ago. I still have it in my medicine cabinet to wear when I'm feeling frisky.
The ratio of Bay Leaf oil to alcohol must be pretty high because a little goes a long way. I purchased it at drugstore.com.
I guess that they still make it.

The Dominica is outstanding. I also like the Royall. Shop the price though. You can sample the Royall at most Brooks Brothers stores.
