I am wavering between these two colognes for my every day, clean fresh, barbershop/soapy scent. Does anyone have experience with these two? How do they compare? Does one last longer than the other?

Hello, BYUTexan:
Trumper's Spanish Leather aftershave has graced my Hollywood face for years. It is sheer delight with its clean, leathery and soapy fragrance. I love this stuff.
I have used many aftershaves and colognes through the years. My three most favorite are: Trumper's Spanish Leather, Truefitt & Hill's Spanish Leather, and Woods of Windsor.
I don't quite know what you mean by TOBS Shaving Shop — and I have used most of the Taylor of Old Bond Street Products. Are you referring to their product line?
Regards,
Obie
BYUTexan,
Personally, I would go for the Spanish Leather...I have used the Shaving Shop cologne and was not all that impressed.
Hello BYUTexan:
Aha! I thought I knew just about all of Taylor of Old Bond Street's products. I must have missed this one. Thanks for enlightening me.
Now, I am always ready to recommend Trumper's Spanish Leather aftershave. I doubt I'll ever be without it. Give it a try. You might like it. Stay well.
Regards,
Obie
+1 for the GFT Spanish Leather. I picked some up a couple of weeks back and I absolutely love it.
I find the scent lasts all day as well...!
Give it a try, you wont be disappointed! :)
I tried a sample of Trumper's Spanish Leather and liked it, although not enough to displace one of my existing scents.
I haven't tried Shaving Shop, but I've read many times that TOBS colognes do not match the shaving creams of the same name, they compliment them, so if you're fond of the scent of Shaving Shop cream then don't assume the cologne is the same scent.
Having tried both, I much prefer the Trumper Spanish Leather.
I've never tried the cologne, but I have used an entire tub of the TOBS Shaving Shop cream.
I wasn't offended by the scent, but I wasn't fond of it either.
It had notes of baby powder, citrus/lime mostly.
