I tried a alum block & it cured my "neck issues". I use it after I rinse my face with cold water after my shave. You just rub the alum block all over your wet face. I use a circular motion and cover my entire face. I then blot my face dry with a towel and apply my aftershave. I'm prone to getting razor burn rather easily & use alcohol based aftershaves like Clubman Pinaud while I'm working...I use the nicer stuff when I'm off and with the lil lady. This is what works for me and you can't go wrong the suggestion...
Good luck,
Scott
I use a product from Lush called "A breath of fresh air". It's a mineral water that comes in a spritzer bottle. A couple of sprays on the face right after a shave, let it evaporate a bit, and then your everyday lotion. Works great for me. Haven't had a bump or a weeper since I began using it.
If you have a razor bump that won't go away it is probably an ingrown hair. To make the bump go away you have to get rid of the ingrown hair. I won't recomend a way to do this because what I have been known to do is probably not the best way.
I'm sure you do like I do...pluck it!
Best way to not have razor bumps is to shave with the grain and use the appropriate aftershave balm to heal all burns and to prevent any bumps.
TwinLuxe Soothing Face Balm is what I would recommend and use daily.
Nivea Sensitive works awesome as an ASB. Also, i've found the a good prep help results when youre dont. If you lather, strop then re-lather sometimes the lather will moisturize while youre stroppin...especially if you add a couple drops of glycerin. it's worth a try.
Don't forget about your technique. Make sure your pressure is very light, and your angles are low.
You might try this product. I did with success when I first started.
Thanks for great answes, but i have 1 question left. What am i suppose to do if i have to shave every day? Is there any possible treatment in this case?
I read that is is possible to use special oils, but will it really work ambrossimo.com/get-rid-of-razor-bumps/
Not sure what your asking, this thread is 5 years old, but shaving everyday is possible I do it and a lot of others do without the bumps and burn, a lot has to do with the razors edge being right,(as your new it might not be) also your technique again new guys don't have it worked out yet along with prep and lather making ability. If you want to get a leg up on this type shaving put your location in your profile and look up mentors in your area. Tc
sorry for that, but i was looking for solution of my problem. I mentioned a link before, http://www.ambrossimo.com/get-rid-of-razor-bumps/ Do you have any ideas, whether it is good and trusted website, which instruction i could follow?
The websites suggestions for razor bumps will work. But if you think about it, most of their suggestions (oils and anti inflammatory) are the ingredients in good after shaves.
I usually use witch hazel after the shave and then an aftershave. Others use an alum block. Both work, it's just a matter of preference.
Make sure your edges are the best they can be. Get your face used to straights. WTG only for a few days or longer, then 2 pass for awhile, then 3 pass.
Did you ever get an answer ? .. I am new also I found alum block then cold rinse then aftershave is a good combination and I have very sensitive skin .
