:rofl2: True enough, but she does often say things like "that smells like..." which at least give me an idea where she is coming from.

So far, the only Bay Rum I've tried has been from Taylor of Old Bond Street (which I love)...I was wondering how it compares with Ogallala, which has been mentioned many times on these forums. Would someone who has tried both care to compare the two for me?
The only bay rum I've used is Dominica. Good stuff, but I'd like to try something different and more... edgy.
well I am thinking it was the oils that really got the burn going on since it lasted so long. and I can smell the witch hazel .. and I cant stand the smell of witch hazel.. I know.. I go against all that is straight shaving.. I think what I might do is to thin it down a bit with something..and go from there.
I was looking at another thread the other day where someone ordered a batch of samples for fifteen dollars or so that has a BUNCH of different flavors including several bay rums..
This may be the way to go for me..
as far as customer service goes I ordered it from amazon so I have not had the pleasure of dealing with the company one on one.
Just tried some Ogallala Bay Rum, Sage, and Cedar after shave and all I can say is WOW! Great product, great price, and great company with which to do business. John is a true gentleman.
My bay rum is supposed to be here on weds an I can't wait. My other bay rum is from panuab
I bought the sampler pack, and I have the deodorant stick, and by far my favorite is the Limes and peppercorns. The sandalwood smells like eggnog to me, but the rest do have the bay rum vibe. Good brand if you ask me.
