I went to a local Walgreen's today (Harlem Ave/Irving) and they had Clubman Bay Rum for a big reduction-- 2.19!
The sad part was that the sign indicated that it was the last chance to buy. I'm not sure if that meant they aren't going to carry it around here--but there were a few bottles left (even after my stock up).
Just thought I'd mention it.
Since a bottle is a lifetime supply, You will be set!;)
well I've never used bay rum but at 2.19 I might as well get a bottle to experiment! Thanks for the heads up!
The same is true in the Milwaukee area. The Clubman Talc is also on clearance for $1.59. Walgreens must be reducing it's range of Pinaud products.
I surmise that the main reason Walgreen's seems to be discontinuing Pinaud fragrances is that the margin between the wholesale and retail price is too low for them to make a profit.
They would prefer to sell higher priced "designer" fragrances, which are more popular among younger shoppers.
