Which Thayer's are you referring to. I use the Witch Hazel Skin Astringent w. Aloe and hardly notice any scent.

The only witch hazel that I have ever smelled
is cheap store brands. Too me the stuff has
a sour smell.
Terry
same stuff. you're nuts if you don't think it's a little gross.Quote:

Well, I just stuck my nose right in the bottle and can see how that might be a 'true' statement so I doubt you're off base. You might be showing your emotional response however. ;) Like I say, I don't mind that smell. That's just me though. Anybody else with opinions on Thayer's Witch Hazel?

I use the Thayer's Rose Witchazel and it smells really good. One option before you throw out the bottle you have: put several drops (or to your liking) of clove oil in it and it will smell much better (assuming you like the smell of cloves).

hmm...
do i want my face to smell like mediciney melted plastic, or an xmas ham? :D
kidding. thanks for the suggestion, but i'm definitely not a clove guy.
