Gentlemen,
Pinaud Clubman is a way of life. I dislike Bay Rum, but the traditional Pinaud Clubman and I have kept company for decades.

I picked up a bottle of is this weekend while SWMBO and I were down in Nashville for a wedding; found it at Walgreens of all places. Lately she's been EXTREMELY sensitive with smells. I tell her it's her super-power from being pregnant (she never found that quite as funny as I did). As such, I wasn't sure what her reaction would be the the bottle of Clubman. Didn't even have to open it, and the smell was already filling the car. To my surprise, she loved it! Can't wait to shave tonight and give it a spin.
+1 for the home team!

Thanked: 1185Yup, Clubman's good for that and for similar results I'd recommend English Leather as well. Marketing ploys aside I don't think I've ever met any female that didn't totally dig English Leather.

My wife didn't like how English Leather smelled from the bottle, but that changed when I applied it. It's one of her favorites with Clubman and Brut. Speaking of which, I have been going old school with aftershave since I started straight razor shaving; it's been fun.

Of course, no discussion of Old School would be complete without Aqua Velva and Murray and Lanman's Florida Water (which I'm pretty sure will be gracing my SOTD photo in the morning.)

Yup, great stuff indeed. Here in Canada it's not readily available on every street corner like it seems to be in the States , in fact if you can find it you might as well buy a lottery ticket. As a result there may be a bit more of a mystique surrounding Pinaud products up here. After trying it for the first time I could clearly see why it has such a following.
