I'm looking for a Vetiver aftershave, no Eau de toilette(EdT). I have some Vetiver EdTs but I'm getting hard times looking for an AFTERSHAVE and want a splash kind not a balm. If you have any suggestions let me know! Many thanks!
cheers

Royall makes a vetiver aftershave, although I think it's marketed as an "all purpose lotion". As a disclaimer I will add that I've never tried it, but Royall has many followers and I'm sure someone could else could give you more info.
I have it and it's nice stuff but very strong and lasts forever on you. As a matter of fact the U.S distributor has a special going on right now 4- 8oz bottles of any of their scents for $90 including shipping. They go by Bermuda150 on Eboy.
I have a vetiver non-aerosol spray deodorant called "vetiver and Spice". It is a fantastic product that is produced by common sense (out of cambridge, new york) it is a meant to be an all natural hippy deodorant but I use it for any aftershaving needs as well; the first five main ingredients are: sd alchohol 40-2 (wood grain), witch hazel, glycerine, rosewood, vetiver. It is a major plus when traveling because it comes in a plastic spray bottle and you have your deodorant and aftershave all in one product. I highly recommend it.
I think Guerlain makes their Vetiver in AS Splash. It's a great Vetiver scent IMHO
Just tried something:
WitchHazel + 2 sprays of Vetiver EdT and voilà!!!
next time I will try with alcool to get a little sting hehehe
I'm partial to Crusellas, very affordable, great smell
Cuban food market: Apparel and Accesories
The label says EdC but it really is closer to a splash.
Want about Creed Vetiver...sorry if I've got the wrong end of the stick!
Not!
Guerlain Paris : Women and Men Fragrance, Skincare, Make-up, Cosmetic and Luxury Products
And if that's not enough, drop by Westmount like a good lad at the Guerlain spa and ask them to sniff all the rare and exclusive stuff!
Can anyone describe the scent of vetiver? Or is there something it compares to? I dont believe I have ever smelled it before
From the internet:
I got that from here: http://www.amazon.com/Vetiver-100%25...3K?afsrc=fstfxQuote:
Vetiver has an earthy, woody aroma characteristic of most essential oils derived from roots in the earth. It also has a rich, sweetly satisfying note that is both warm and masculine.
I add essential oils to soaps, witch hazel and to after shaves that need "improving."
Well I may have to try some someday
