Default Your current Favourite Top AS Balms for winter ?

My Top 3 list currently is:

    1. Musgo Real AS Balm - very gentle and heals razor burn almost instantly

    2. Edwin Jagger/Mühle AloeVera AS Lotion - a very soothing healing velvet soft AS Balm for sensitive skin

    3. Proraso Liquid Balm/Clinique Post Shave Healer - both are extremely well made AS Balm, both more like milk and good for oily skin. Both heals, soothes and takes pretty good care of razor burn.

So what is your AS Balm favourites ?

Castle Forbes would have been my first pick. Still love their AS balms but then I tried Penhaligon's. Holy crap is this stuff nice. I got the OPUS 1870, which is a sandalwood base. Just fantastic scent, ultra soothing if you've got a touch of razor burn and extremely moisturizing.

I was thinking about asking the same question recently. My current favs include Musgo Real, Nivea, and AOS Sandlewood. I didnt like the Musgo Real when I first got it, but it hass really grown on me.

I was using Nivea, but recently I found a new shaving balm by Neutrogena that I think is a lot better than the Nivea. I always found the Nivea to be a little greasy. The Neutrogena is not.
I can't remember the exact name of it. It's sold in supermarkets with all the other men's shaving stuff.

The Nivea Protective lotion is excellent. Harder to find, but not at all oily. And works into the skin very easily." sold with the men's Nivea products.

Caswell-Massey Number Six. Unfortunately, the Number Six Aftershave Balm is discontinued from production.

Pre De Provence is the only balm I use regularly so I guess that is my favorite for now, I mostly use splashes but like balm in the winter, just have to find new ones to try

Just completed a wonderful 4 pass straight razor shave with AOS Sandalwood SC followed by the same ASB...magical stuff, both scent wise and performance. Shame really because the SC gets a little tough to take after your 20th shave or so and there's so much more tub left!!! ....what do I mean? Well, it's like sickeningly sweet.
