Dave, I feel your pain! It can be a problem when choosing scent, we must always think of the fairer sexes opinion too. I love Penhaligons Hammam Bouquet but the wife can't stand it for the first hour or so until it mellows.Quote:

EDC...EDT Question
It's no secret that I am a big fan of the "Blue" aftershaves.
Aqua Velva, Epsilon blue, Myrsol blue and the no longer avIlable Floid blue.
They are all quite similar and wonderful, but the scent seems to fade rather quickly.
I would love to enhance and make it somewhat longer lasting.
Has anyone come across an EDC or EDT with a similar scent profile?

Hopefully I'll get to try some Sauvage soon.
For now, while it's not exactly the same, Davidoff Cool Water EDT pairs with all of the "Blue" aftershaves that I have really well.

This is technically a light beard oil, but I use it on my sideburns as well and against my temples and under my chin against skin.
Is without a doubt the most delicious smokey scent I’ve ever tried. Not smokehouse ribs smoke, nor like a stale cohiba.
Just a sweet, desirous smokey scent that always has someone, man or woman, askin me what I’m wearing because I smell so nice.
Subtle, long lasting, and really just an awesome product.

I received some Creed samples today because i wanted to try Sublime Vanille
I thought it was for men but it falls on the feminine side of unisex , in other words it is suited to a human born with female organs and has undergone no gender replacement therapy :)
The fragrance is amazing and at £400 it should be..I will get this for my fiance for xmas..Pure quality is my official review.

I enjoy original Floid aftershave. My daughter hates it, and says it smells like an old Italian man, but I kind of dig it. Its a menthol smell with all of the alcohol sting.

Today checked Nishane Hacivat against its Dua clone Ottaman Breeze. Quite close in the air but can definitely pick up the difference in ingredients on the skin. Tomorrow will try out sn Aventus clone of one of the rave batches called Poseidons Elixir 13ZZ
