From the Floris website:
The freshness of new leather complements the smoky aspects of the oud oil and geranium at the heart.
Leather Oud takes inspiration from when new fragrance oils would be delivered to Floris in small leather cases, adding their scent to the overall aroma of the essences as they were opened. A complex fragrance, glowing modern amber notes complete the harmony adding depth to the woody base accord.
Owing to its precious ingredients, we only blend Leather Oud in small batches.
The exclusive fragrance is created with oud oil from a certified sustainable source of agarwood. This oil is among the most expensive in the perfumer’s palette - with deep qualities found in no other oil. It is an opulent, deep sensual note that combines beautifully with rose and sandalwood.
Dumb reach the last couple days. Versace Dylan Blue
Keep coming back to Penhaligon's Sartorial these days.
Jonathan that Guerlain looks like nice yellow vintage juice.
Today is Versace Eau Fraiche
Yeah, it's a very grassy vetiver. Date of manufacture is 2004, so it's "vintage". I've moved more into earthier vetiver fragrances -- MPG's Route du Vetiver EDT, for example, and Lalique's Encre Noire EDT (which you turned me onto, and which I finally bought a bottle of just this evening!) :)
Over on Basenotes, every Wednesday (starting not long ago) is "Vetiver Wednesday", and I post a link to my vetiver-centric SOTD's there, too. Come, check it out!
