I have a collection of very expensive men't colognes. Very odd that the most compliments I get is when I use the cheapest stuff I have ever seen: eau de cologne Tabac. I bought a bottle (seems like a gallon) of the stuff on amazon for $12.00 and fill my hands with the stuff and splash.
One thing a nose does not detect is price..............
I was wearing Master's Bay Rum and this absolutely gorgeous girl I work with comes up and leans next to me and says "MMM, you smell like a hitman."
That reminds me of all the guys on skid row who think Ripple is the best stuff in the world. They don't understand why someone would pay more for something better. The gals there love it too.:)
Just kidding of course.
LOL I use Master's Bay Rum and it gets questions/comments from the young and old. "You smell just like my Grandpa" is the most often heard comment. Being a Grandpa softens the sting.Quote:

Well, I'm conflicted because my wife and my boyfriend like different scents on me and both get jealous when I wear the wrong cologne at the wrong time.

As for price-point, I'd say that a "Cheap Date"™ is a guy who wears an afterscent he bought at a yard sale.
I might worry a bit that she seems to know what a hitman smells like! :thinking:
