Two old...ish razors. Info anyone?

Hi guys,

I bought these razors from a street sale. Photos below.
They were the only ones with some restoration hope. My friend, google, doesn't seem to know much about them. Especially the one stamped "Thiers" doesn't seem to exist. Can anyone provide some info, please?

Well i cant see or read anything from your pictures, i can tell you the Thiers is a french razor, as Thiers is a region in France very famous for cutlery.

Of course any info is welcome and appreciated, but i was hoping more like year/decade of fabrication...

On the Puma it is stamped "52 Puma Solingen" on one side and "Made in Germany from best Puma-Steel" on the other side. Nothing on the blade.
On the Thiers it is stamped "30" on one side and "A.GRI//OLANGE Thiers-France" on the other side. On the blade it has the name of the model (?) and that's "RAZLUX"

That's pretty much everything I can read on them.

You got some serious chips to get out. Looks like one is going to have to have the stabilizers raised also.

Yep, seen that.

In the meantime, I managed to restore the Puma to a live blade. I thought this one is more simple to restore and it was. Nothing fancy, just unpinned, eliminated the chips, polished, sharpened and pinned back in place. I have no intention to sell it, so the only thing which really counts is the sharpness. Looks good for now, I will shavetest today...

I will try to do the same with the Thiers, one of these days, but it will involve making new scales, so it will take a little bit more time.
