I picked this one up from another customer at an antique shop, when he gave me the price he wanted I about fell over and paid him before he changed his mind. Measuring from the edge to the back of the spine is 8/8 and the spine itself is just over a 1/4in. Not sure about the scales one guy said they might be teak :shrug:

Here's mine.
Here's another of my Butchers, fresh with some of Gary's scales. Note the different color on each side, pretty impressive, if I do say so myself. No , the blade work is not very good yet, I just had to put these scales on! This blade is one heck of a shaver too.
