Well I guess those posts are too old to edit...lol...unless anyone knows of a way to do that with old posts....

The Celebrated Hollow Ground Razor For Barbers Use is at the top of my wish list. I would like one that is as close to new condition as possible with clear stamps, no pitting, staining, rust or tarnish, preferably. Are ones in that condition out there? Are the razors them self considered rare?
The ones I've seen on the Bay have minor cosmetic flaws and still go for a lot which makes me think they are either very rare or highly sought for or both.
I wenr through the thread yesterday and deleted quite a bit. I deleted dead photbucket links and posts saying "nice razor" for the dead links. I didn't do it on the first few pages but got so sick of scrolling through what has become noise that I began to delete them. Then at the end I got to your post saying you are going to restore them. I am going to go back to the beginning and delete any other dead posts. It would be great if you could go in your photo files and post photos of your collection again. This time directly through "manage attachments" so they don't get lost again.
Not the greatest photo, but here is my W&B Bow Razor. Did something idiotic and cracked the original scales, so I installed this faux tortoise handle which I really like. I would call it a great shaver but then again I have nothing to compare it to. :)

Great scales Z!
So, I kind of hesitate to post my new (to me) W&B here after seeing some of the beauties on the first few pages...but I'm excited to have her, hone her up, and shave with her. I don't think I'll polish her, but I might re-scale her. There's no wedge between the horn pieces and the horns are a bit warped.
I guess whatever I decide on the scale issue will determine whether I polish her up or not. The W&B stamp on the shank is fading fast and I want to be careful to maintain it. But here she is just as I got her today...

I'd appreciate any info you can give me on her. What I know so far is she's a hollow ground 4/8 with some kind of horn scales (I think). Thanks!
Could I get one with whavens
Beautiful one. Curious how old you think this one is... And it appears the end is ground down a bit. That's unusual, no? Or is it that the frosted etching ends what looks like a quarter of an inch or so from the end of the blade? Anyway, an unusual one. Nice. How wide is it? 7/8's?
