In the early years SANSSOUCI was a trademark of Walter Kesemeyer, Wald-Solingen but after WW2 this trademark was used by Aug. Müller & Söhne, Solingen-Merscheid, who bought some prewar trademarks as BISMARCK, GLOBETROTTER etc. Those SANSSOUCI razors were often sold w/o the SOLINGEN script for Export trades. Those razors were NEVER made in the GDR or DDR, but there have been several dealers in Berlin (Paul Goertz TRANSAT, C. Zimmer), Halle (Herm. Müller HALLORIA) and Leipzig (J.C. Müller LIPSIA) trading with Solinger steelworks products.
Yours maybe one of those later export razors, definately Made in Solingen, but sold w/o the SOLINGEN orign scipt.
ich frage mich nur, wieso keine Solingen drauf steht. Aber villeicht merke ich das auch beim Rasieren.......
Schmactenberg Brothers, Solingen.
I've owned this for quite sometime It's my smallest razor but without doubt one of the most beautiful made razors I own, It as an extra hollow ground blade that's incredibly fine, and a great little shaver, I've listed many of my other razors in the razor club I don't know why I forgot to list this.

Hi all,
Just picked this up from Joe Edson's site Edsonrazors.com. It's 11/16 full hollow grind, haven't been able to figure out the exact maker. The blade reads 'Veritable Solingen', and the shank reads 'GARANTITO PER 5 ANNI SOLINGEN'. It's got a really lite touch and shaves great.
