this blade made me cry uncle. I could not get it honed and finally sent it to Sham to figure it out. He said he had to take off lots of spine to get it shave ready. Must have been taped a lot. but it's should be back home any day now.

And it is a definite wedge eh?

My humble addition to Wedges. This is my Mappin Brothers wedge with ivory scales. I want to say it is the Sun Razor but I am not sure. I did not include my Hart because I do not know if 1/4 hollow counts.

I stumbled upon this club while looking for another and I had to share...

I don't have the right stuff to take the premiere pictures that some of you guys come up with, but this was an e-pay salvage I ran across. Somebody had already done some sanding on it. I didn't get that aggressive, but I will probably work to get the marks out and clean up the pins at some point.

Right now she's not the prettiest girl at the ball, but she is my favorite shaver, and as I think about removing five months of beard growth here in a couple weeks, she is top of the list for the job.

It took a lot of work to get the bevel right. You can see the hone marks. How it got that far out of whack I don't know, but while the bevel looks weird it shaves great!

I'll add my latest restoration to the list. It's a 9/8 E L & Co that I finished restoring. Everything except the for pivot pin is original to the razor.

No photographs yet but I've a Joseph Rodgers wedge, not yet shaved with it but its a bonny looking razor. I've sent that to Neil Miller for some TLC.

I've just picked up a bargain on flea bay. A Brookes and Crookes wedge in reasonably good condition with blonde horn scales. All for £20. Wife has treated me for my revising :D still refuses to pay for the restoration of my Joseph Rodgers, only a week to wait though so not all bad. And she even asked the seller if the blade was ok before committing to buy.

I'll get some photographs on as soon as possible.

This is the Brookes & Crookes wedge the wife bought for me. Looks in reasonable condition, or at least no worse than I expected.

I shall be sending this one off to Mr Miller for some TLC once I have the Joseph Rodgers & Sons wedge sorted.

Closest shave of my life. Face feels buttery smooth every time I have the privilege of using it. Perfect bevel. Never seen a Geo Wostenholm stamp like this one.

I think you may need a microbevel on this one, This is why the true wedge was not so popular, it looks like my chisel iron. (But I love it)
