Her are my two homemade framebacks. The one with the oak handle was the trail run or prototype before taking time to make a more refined razor. The screws in the black one have been replaced with button head torx screws.

They are indeed beautiful. I especially like the shape of the first one with the black handle.
I used an air powered die grinder and an abraisive cut off wheel. This thread has pctures http://straightrazorpalace.com/forge...le-blades.html The thickness of the dremel brand reinforced cut off wheel is very close that of the old diston saw that I cut up to get the blade material.
