Hi guys i would like to join with my first Dorko a 6/8 300 with stippled spine and gold wash.Sadly not in the greatest condidtion when i got it i have honed out a couple of little chips and cleaned the blade as far as possible without the gold wash comming of.So any opinions welcome should i polish the blade and loose the gold wash or keep her as is it is one of the best shavers i have love it.

Sadly no real way that I know of to polish the blade and keep the wash. I love it the way it is. Gives it character.

Here's my humble contribution (sorry I don't have more pics!) It's a Dorko #856 7/8" that I just bought. The previous owner claims that he used it, but the razor almost looks NOS; VERY good condition! This is my first Dorko, so I can't wait to hone it up & shave with it!

I have this one inbound, can anyone tell me a little about this particular razor? It's been rescaled, so I need to seek out the proper scales, any idea what scales would be more appropriate? Estimated manufacture date? Etc?

Gentlemen,
Those that proceed my recent purchase are with out a doubt quality examples of the Dorko family.
Here is my humble contribution to the Dorko, a 346 which proved itself a noble shaver......

Every time I see these bi-chromatic scales on one of these German razors I dig them a little more...
