Yeah I was put onto him by a friend who uses him to buy strops and said that his work on razors was top notch as well.
Now just waiting for them to arrive so I can give them a test drive

Hello!
I am here because I like Sheffield straights. I have two nice smiling wedge. They are just great shavers.
Joseph Allen & Sons, 9/16
This one I have honed from start to shave ready.
Randall Hall Sheffield 3/4
This come shave ready, I have only stoped it.
This is my first post with a Sheffield banner
Thanks,
Mikko
Here is a odd maker, Ebner Farker, 3709, Sheffield.
Seems to be a full wedge with horn scales. Same shape and all for a Wade & Butcher I have, will be working them up together just for kicks, see how different they may be.
C.T. Bingham, Late Fenney "Tally Ho"
Obviously not in brilliant condition, but assuming it's age, not so bad.. :)

I love my Sheffield.....it is one of the best shavers that I have. It is my "go to" sr. James Barber. Not really for sure bout the year, sometime in the 1800's, most likely the late 1800's. Dont have any pics of it. Did have, but our other computer went belly up, and lost a few pics:(. Beautiful razor tho....
Jonathan Hunt Patent Sheffield 1829-1837 according to Lummus. Beautiful Brown Horn, Lead Wedge, Blade in fine condition. I like these old Long blades...
Beautiful Taylor Alex! It's rare to find one of those great shavers in the condition of your's. Congrats.
Old Sheffield Steel recent finds
RARE Nayler, a Clark & Hall, a James Johnson, and an ultra scarce Shinner
John Barber "Old English" ( Cousins )
Great examples, AH!
