@ gssixgun: nice one! Round nose 14's don't come by often and it's a three pinner with transparent scales and metal inlay on top of that!

Keep the 14 postings coming people!

    Kindest regards, Jazor

Default 14 M. Boue, Barcelona, Solingen

Just received this today. Believe M. Boue was a Barcelona merchant/importer of razors. This was probably Solingen made for the Spanish market. Shank states “M. Boue, Rambla de Las Flores 11, Barcelona”. Back says “Solingen”. Blade states “La Navaja Boue” and is similar to Filarmonica scroll work. Has Nice looking brown marbled but celluloid scales. Overall in great shape an will hopefully be a great shaver, just like all the other 14s. Not familiar with this particular brand and would welcome comments from others more knowledgeable. Thanks, Austin Attachment 305005Attachment 305007Attachment 305008Name: image.jpg

Great find Austin. I am always more interested in the rare ones. A Henckels perhaps? They certainly made a lot of 14’s.

Shaun, I have another M. Boue, Barcelona razor made in Solingen under GUMESO 14 trademark. My research indicates it was probably made circa 1939 by cutler Gustav Melcher Sohn living at Stubbenerstrasse 13, Solingen - Wald. Many of these small factories were destroyed by allied air raids in 1944. Not sure about Gumeso after WW2. Not many of these GUMESO 14 around either.

New #14 to add to the stable arrived today. A Frederick Ern " Fewa". The grind on this one is extra hollow and beautifully executed. Looking forward to tomorrow morning's shave.

Got one of these, too. I have yet to see a bad Ern. Lovely razors.

Henckels 14 came in today. Will fit right in with rest of them.
