What brands are good ones? I haved always avoided these old easternblock ones because I wasn't sure which brands were quality...
This is my Britva Uzkaya. I'm told that translates to "Narrow Razor". It's a 5/8 and I believe it's made of stainless steel. Good razor!

I'll hone it up this weekend. It doesn't seem to have a bevel yet.
One of my Co-workers is recently from Lithuania. If I can remember, I'll get her to read it to me tomorrow.
looks like Труд Вача = trud vacha
The razor was made on the Trud(Труд) factory in 1940.
Catalog, 1964.
