P. Hospital Le Grelot No. 71 'Zenith' 6/8" Black Scales Full Hollow
Hey everyone,
It's great to be a part of this community - I started straight razor shaving in December of 2015, and this forum has been absolutely fundamental in helping me succeed and stay committed to this wonderful hobby. It all began with a Dovo 6/8 'Best' (still my most sentimental razor), and has now expanded into quite a collection, including new and mostly vintage blades from all over Europe.
This marks my first razor I'm having to part with, as my collection keeps growing, and Glen is keeping quite busy with a handful that I shipped to him for work.
This example I acquired in May of last year - it was advertised as NOS and based on the pictures I wholeheartedly believe the seller. It was shipped directly from France to the States, and went straight from me to Glen who formed a worthy bevel, finishing it off nicely on one of his JNATs. I've shaved with it three times since then, so it's still very much shave ready (it's already been stropped and is good to go). From what I've seen around here, an apt description may be: "Used 3x NOS."
The pictures really speak for themselves, this is a beautiful razor and it's sad to see her go - I know one of you gentlemen will enjoy this as part of your collection. Meanwhile, I'm excitedly waiting for my first Filly's to arrive :y
