13/16 Joseph Rodgers & Sons 'Pre England' Sheffield Razor, Original Horn, Escutcheon

Here for sale is a Joseph Rodgers & Sons Sheffield razor with notched point. This vintage razor is in overall very good condition with no active rust or overly deep historical rust stains. This razor may have once been a wedge that was professionally reground into a 3/4 hollow early in its life. Blade geometry is excellent and their is little to no hone wear. Edge is clean and undamaged. Not shave ready.

Horn scales are likely original and feature an inlaid metal escutcheon plate without engraved initials etc. Pins and wedge are in fantastic condition, scales are not dry or brittle as they have been treated with neatsfoot oil.

Comes with a handmade box of my own creation.
