6/8" Joseph Elliot 'Best Silver Steel' Sheffield Razor - Detailed Pressed Horn Scales

Another up for sale - A 6/8" Joseph Elliot 'Best Silver Steel' Sheffield Razor with gold filled pressed horn scales.
This razor is perhaps not original to the scales, or heavily reworked at some point from its original shape. The hollow ground blade is in overall good condition however, with one small chip near the toe approx. 1mm deep. There is no crack beyond it so it can be honed out and sharpened. The spine itself shows very little to no hone wear.
The pressed horn scales are very solid with no cracks or breaks and only one small bug bite on the pile side, forward of the pin.
The razor comes with an original Joseph Elliot coffin case in great usable condition.
