The Plum family of cutlers operated in London throughout the 19th century. This little number was made by Charles Tucker Plum in the mid-to-late 1880's.
It's deceptively meaty for a medium sized razor, and it took a fantastic edge -- which I wasn't expecting because of the thickness of the spine. I honed it with two layers of tape, Shapton glass hones, and finished off with lapping film.
The razor has been completely disassembled, the crack stabilized, everything cleaned and polished and reassembled with collarless pins just as it was originally.
I also left the inscription 'Johnson / S / 2-50'. If you'd like, I can easily remove it, but I personally like signs of previous owners.
Unfortunately, I got a small amount of dust from my sandpaper into the crack which got sealed in with the CA glue, so the crack is a lot more visible than I'd intended. For that reason, I'm offering this for a significantly discounted price.
It is shave ready.

My apologies to international buyers, but because of the ivory scales I will not ship this outside the United States.
