Every time, I tell myself 'this is the one I'm gonna keep for myself'.

This time, I even went all out on the restoration and took it as close to factory condition as I could get without destroying the marks. Those are brand new scales, Austin's great replica washers, and a brand new wedge (indium/bismuth because I've been too lazy to order any pewter, I've got 4 pounds of this indium/bismuth stuff and it's nicely non-toxic).

It's a joy to shave with. Just the right side of heavy, incredibly solid. Sharp, like a razor should be.

As always happens, stuff came up in auction that I wanted a whole lot more and I need to pay for it. So adios gigantic For Barber's Use.

That's a good looking razor! You have some serious skills.
People pay way more than that, every day on the Bay, and they get much less for their money.
I'd say 315 is a screaming deal.

Even though I have one just like it, I’d buy it if I hadn’t spent so much on this stuff as of late. There seems to be a lack of appetite for razors lately.

It certainly feels that way... Then I try to buy things in auctions, and end up throwing down so much cash that I need to sell things like this.
