That's a beauty!
Man I'll bet that will give an incredible shave when honed!
These ones don't come up often, wish I had the dough.
Someone's gonna be happy!
Sweet!!! Too bad that wasn't in the Movember Auction.
Stefan, I'll take her.
It's one of a kind and I'll treat myself for Christmas.
I know I'm in Holland, but I'd like you to send her to Max for some blue Paua scales.
I think that would make it the perfect razor.
:)
Thanks,
Herman
Perfect.!! It'll make a great addition to your chopper collection.
Congrats on a fine looking razor! Be sure you show us pics of that one after Max replaces the scales, ought to be a real beauty when he gets done with her not to take away for her beauty now. A top quality, very rare bird indeed........
Love the Herder razors. I have a Friedr. Herder Abr. Sohn #77 and a Rich. Abr. Herder # 326, both excellent shavers and probably the best shaving of the German razors I currently own, my Bokers may be a shade bit smoother but not by much. I haven't quite decided which is better, Henckels (#1127 & #78) or Herders though I do feel Henckels are a tad bit harsher but still mighty fine shavers.
As beautiful as that blade is already, I'm trying to imagine it in blue Paua by Max-I can't wait to see the results! Merry Christmas to you indeed!
