R Rogers & Son 5/8 shave ready
The blade measures 16.2mm which makes it a fraction over 5/8 in size.
Scales look to be original.
The razor is in very nice condition for an antique Sheffield.
The blade is very deeply engraved with "Damasus Hollow"
Looks to a stiff grind. Quarter hollow or thereabouts.
Ideal first razor looking for someone starting out straight shaving.
The razor was honed on a progression of Shapton Ceramic Pro stones (1k, 2k, 5k, 8k and 12k).
