Not Made In Germany
Attachment 138619Attachment 138621Attachment 138621I'm not sure why I snagged this razor on the Bay but I think it had a lot to do with the inscription. Has anyone seen this before? One could guess that it had something to do with a World War. It got my attention as strangeness often does, now I'm asking myself if I really need this in a razor?Attachment 138617Attachment 138618Attachment 138619Attachment 138620
Sorry for the double pic. The inscription opposite Hand Made says: Blue Steel Made in USA by Experts Not Made in Germany

I really hope we can find out the story behind this stamping. Talk about a slap in the face....

I would have probably bought it too. It's interesting, and that is a good reason to buy (assuming it is more interesting than expensive;))

I can only guess it was produced during or shortly after ww2. Many anti-german feelings then.....There was a mfg. for oxygen/acetylene cylinders that used a swastika as a logo, after the war they were all stamped over to make 4 squares to hide the swastika.

Pretty simple! It was proclaimed to have NOT been made in Germany. Sort of a sentiment of WWII is evident. Interestingly, it bears resemblance to Case's "Made in Germany by Experts" stamp!

Perhaps we can find a "Made in Germany, Not by Experts" :)
