Curious mind..
What's the difference.. historically and otherwise. I understood that those marked Jose Monserrat Pou 14 were pre Fillie, but that all I got..
Help me out with some details.

Double temple refers to the double tempering cycle the razors were put trough.
I do not know the history but my guess is the difference would be the tempering process.
If you are looking at a blade that simply has Jose Monserrat Pou and the number 14 on it, it is probably either an early Especial or Medallon Taurino before JMP started using the Filarmonica brand. Once JMP started business under the Filarmonica brand, he added that name to his razors. The Doble Temple is considered the Filarmonica 'base model' razor (but is still a superb razor from what I have heard and read). The other Filarmonica razors have slight differences eg rubber grip on the tang of the EBPD, the tempering method used on the Sub Cero, etc.
Some people also say the steel used in the pre-Filarmonica days was superior to the later Filarmonica steel, but I can't confirm that to be true or not.
