lol, practice so they can be chefs....That's ok, my wife would agree that I cook better than her.
Now I get it. I wasn't trying to tip the scale in any genders direction. My wife could cook pies and things that I would never dream of trying. I made better bread and cake and when it comes to open fire I am the go to cook. Especially camp breakfast. She just couldn't keep the eggs from falling through the grill. She was blonde , what can I say.
Camp cooking is an art......and I am an artist ;)
It's the neanderthal in us I think. Imagine a horse back ride for 3 days and cooking breakfast for 5 along side the river every morning. My group was kind of like the 1 in Blazing Saddles. I never brought beans again.

Its all good, veggie peeler is at least related to camp cooking. Gotta have something to garnish the big thick chunk of meat....
Don't forget the citrus peel for marinading. Dang, I got to get one of those things now.
Speaking of citrus peel, sounds like I could use it for some alcoholic beverages!!!! Now I have to go make a drink! At least I don't work tomorrow.
