I wouldn't have bought any straight razors with full-hollow ground or spike-point blades. Of course, if I hadn't, I wouldn't have any to sell now! :w

Skip the cheap soap and go with really good soap or cream.
Would never have bought any hones, let the pros do the deed, would have bought 4 kgs of P160 before they quit making it.
would have bought more Palmaras back in the day.
I would've travelled back in time to teach my dad how to shave with a straight razor so he could then teach me how to shave :)
I would have bought the 220/1000 with the Norton 4/8.I have some antique store finds coming home this weekend and hope the 4/8 alone will do the job.
My mistakes and triumphs have been worth it. Things are drying up and I am grateful to have some nice ones which are hard to see these days. I love fixing them up and shaving with them. I also have some which make me chuckle at how funky they are. Does anyone have razors they could never sell because you don't want anyone to know you bought them? I do! :roflmao
I would've finally got that operation I've always wanted and wouldn't need to shave....:dropjaw:
I think that I was lucky and had some folks that knew what they were doing to help me along. Would have been a rougher ride otherwise.
Could have used a little (lot) more sense in the accumulations at times!

if you had to do it all over again... I might just be the Dalai Lama of shaving . :)
