UK based Beginner with poorly blade
Hi Everyone.
With a little encouragement from Dave at indespessso I have finally made a purchase and would like to start my venture with a little help from you guys.
Recently picked up a William Rodgers here in the UK. It came with a box ( not sure if its original to the razor ) and needs a bit of TLC
Im happy to read through the great posts and info on this forum for how to shave and stuff like that but right now I would love to get this blade off to someone here in the UK that could restore it back to working condition for me please - I don't really know my way round this forum so well yet so if anyone could shoot me some infos of guys here in the UK that do this work I would deb so grateful
My aim is to work my way up to 3 razors. I figured that if I got a variation of blade lengths it would be a good pointer for my choice of blade in the future. I think this one set me back £6 all in. Nice to not have to fork out heavily for some great enjoyment
Oh, if you guys have any good recommendations for honing stones, strops I would be interested to hear that too
Thanks, and look forward to reading your replies...

Alright mate, welcome to your new favourite place on the internet.
I'm only a beginner myself so I'm not gonna try and give you advice. The guys on here will take good care of you.
What I will do is give you the link I was given to get your razor honed
www.razorsharpening.co.uk
They seem to be the boys to go to in the UK.
Don't know much about your razor but it looks pretty nice, especially for only 6 quid. The guys on the link also offer a clean and polish service.
I can't vouch for their work as I haven't sent my razor off yet, but should do it this week.
Happy shaving!
