Ever get a razor and wonder what it looked like new ? That is what a collector wants. Original condition. And if you have seen NOS you know how far from it all the others are.Look at how many razors get worked on multiple time. Or look at the older razors that no one is sure exactly what the original finish was or what scales they really came in. When A NOS one pops up you have a benchmark of what it is supposed to look like. I have no problem with those that hone a NOS razor and use it. I would hate to see someone customize a razor that was already perfect. If less than perfect sure might as well your not destroying any historic value.
