new blade
found another blade I couldn't walk away from. it's a griffon 60 square point in 6/8. the blade had no rust spots and almost no hone wear. the problem was the scales. or should I say bug bits. I don't really know what the scales are made of but I would guess its horn of some kind. the scales are in tack just a little rough. I ended up giving $18.00 for it so now i'm going through all the antique stores I see looking for scales. until I find a razor with a bad blade but good scales I'll keep the thing oiled and put up. anyone have any suggestions on finding those scales? the razor had the original box not in the best of shape but there.
