I don't know any thing about the maker but I can say with some confidence that it was a generic/common type 1920's-1940's hollow German razor with celluloid scales and some mighty hone ware and a frown. Looks about 4/8" and has a heavy patina that may be hiding putting or discoloration that's likely too deep to get out fully.
It also looks to have been repinned at one time or another

Thanks for the replies. I was curious because the blackness of the blade is very smooth and uniform, that and the Black Bottom name made me think it may be an intentional part of the design.
I have a Gebrüder Kaiser that is blackened on the blade.
