Help with maker/logo id.

Hi,
Put this in the beginner's forum yesterday (because I am one) and was kindly advised that I might have more luck over here.
My now edited post was basically:

Picked up a couple of razors on eBay dirt cheap, because they looked filthy and the auction (UK only) finished at 3.30ish am! My interest was in a Ford and Medley 300 which looked promising as a nice shaver. It still does but I'm waiting for the holidays to make a start on it.
The other razor, I have been giving it a basic clean when I have a few spare minutes, and I'm starting to really like it. However, I can't identify the maker. There are tang markings on one side only, which I find difficult to read and include a logo I've not been able to find through the usual reference routes. So basically, I'd be really grateful for any ideas?

My main interest is restoration by hand and improving my shaving technique BUT I really hate not knowing things.

Well it looks to me as there´s a P(W) E and some marking and then ES.
Could possibly be one of those: P.W.& Co.:
Paul Weyersberg & Co
P & W, PW monogram: Picard & Wielpütz
but i´m not sure.
I think i´ve seen the marking somewhere but can't remember for now.

The marking between the lettering is a little guy with his arms in the air.
I've got to head out to work now but I'll trying finding something that looks similar from the companies you listed above when I get home.

It looks to me like We & Es with the "little guy" being a stylized ampersand. This example is imaginary, but it could be a company name like West & Esterbrook using the first two letters of each name as part of the logo. I've looked through a number of references, but couldn't find you a match.
