    Default restore advice

Here's the old dog I had given to me by SWMBOs uncle. Looking to clean it up and make a good usable tool, nothing real fancy, just a good solid shaver. The scales are pretty well eaten up but the blade looks to be in OK shape. A little pitting but nothing on the edge. Ant advice is welcome.

    Thanks

You can hand sand and polish the blade, to deal with the tail you may have to unpin.
If you plan to unpin, you will need new scales because of the crack at the pivot pin.
