Merkur Straight Razor - Any good?
I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the quality of Merkur straight razors? There doesn't seem to be much information about them. Are they an older cheaper version of the Dovo, or better than new Dovo straights?

I've got a few vintage Merkur, which was originally Hermes, and they are top notch. Talking pre-WWII here. Not sure if they kept making them post war.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
