Default New Vintage Boker Need Help With History

    Greetings,
I am just getting into the straight razor culture and have just purchased my first razor. I have been looking for quite some time and finally found what I was looking for. (a unique and old piece which can be restored) I think this piece is very unique in its appearance, but I do not know enough about it to be sure if it is original. I have searched the internet for info on this razor and come up empty handed. I think it is a 1924-35 make from the proof stamps. As for the the scales being original, I don't know. I'm also unsure about the history of the "Our Pet" blade. It seems a rather odd name for a razor. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, the back of the blade is stamped GERMANY. Thanks for the help.Name: $_57.jpg

Look on "Strazors.com", and check the logo. It changed over the years and that will help date it.

As bouscie said, check the logo. I can't see the "tree" clearly enough in the photo to tell but you can check it at the bottom of the page here:
