Very nice! Looks like a wedge to me.

Nice, Older Fenny, Roberto! A wedge. Lovely scales, seemingly metal lined in 3 panels, much like we see pearl done in others. The panels could be tortoise or dyed horn. The pique, or penning silver decoration is amazing as is the decorative wedge.
Nice find! Very unusual :chapeau

Without a doubt, I'd say pinned tortoise.
Precious :chapeau
Fenney is a famous razor maker, I'd say around 1850 for this one.

Thanks really at all.
Here in Galiza, in the northern spain the geman razors are the most comun but the brits ons were used by rich people, and the scales usally are better than the german ones, you are true, there are a silver panel behind teh shell,

Congratz, I love that razor..

That is a museum quality piece. Excellent pinned tortoise work, very unusual to see tortoise panelled. I would give a lot for a razor like that.

When I see a razor like this I forget all the 'let's see your shave den' and 'tape or no tape' discussions and I am so glad that this site exists....This must be considered treasure. Congratulations on your discovery.
