Default Show me your extra long tailed razors for inspiration.

So I just got a blank from Bruno and I Ann having a hard time drawing a scales for it. I never seen a razor line a de pew completely open or any other long tailed razors. I did try drawing a shape, but I want to see others, to see how the interact with the tang and the tail.Name: uploadfromtaptalk1395183063228.jpg

Debating on this style or the other from Bruno. Scales is one reason I can't decide... interested in what the outcome is. Initial drawing looks great.

I was afraid to resort to that, but it seems like a good option. I would still like to see razors that have long tails to be able to come out with scales that cover the tail and work well when stropping.

Here's a DePews of mine...hint, when open for stropping the tail fits perfectly within the scales

Mock up some scales out of cheap pine or plastic, play with it,do not think you will see any blades with a tang that long.

The main thing you're going for is to have the tail and scales fall comfortably in your hand or else be out of the way so as not to interfere with the flip of the razor....Kenny Powell accomplishes this quite well

The more I see I think I am going to have to cut the tail a bit.
