Can't comment on the history beside it being around a while and then you bought it. That sums up the history I know. Good thing you did get it. Great razors I love all of my Wosty's.

That does seem to be true. I did some research on it last night after a few beers and it was made between 1847 and 1890 mot likely a little earlier. The US began to require that all imported goods be labeled with country of origin around 1890. The reason I think mine is earlier is because Wostenholm started putting England on their blade before it was legally required as a matter of pride.
Ok well I just finished cutting and shaping the scales soon enough I will figure out the whole pinning and finishing the scales thing I will keep you guys posted
