Stopped by an Antique store today and found a very nice Wade and Butcher in its original box and a Boker King cutter in box. Would anyone know which model the Wade and Butcher is? It measures 6/8" accross.
Thanks

Thanks
the boker looks pretty mint
Thanks they are both minty! I could believe it when I saw how nice they were. They were all in a box labelled assorted razors. The picture does not do them and justice. The W&B has little to no hone wear and a couple of small pits on on the razor itself and is a full wedge. The Boker looks almost new.
Awesome score
Great score on both - they look great!!
The W&B is post 1890's as it says Sheffield England not just Sheffield. The Boker looks amazing!!
Very nice find. They both look mint.
They're both terrific. We can only dream about finding razors like that in Australia
Great find! I hope to run into some good finds like that around here some day. :beer1:
Your lucky day, congrats
Thanks guys, Phrank you are correct in that the center mark say's "Corporate Mark" and it is a wedge style razor. Post 1891 wow that is very cool to find something this old and in this shape! I a bit nervous trying to clean it up as I do not want to loose any of the center mark. There is VERY minor small black spots on the blade itself. Any pointer on how to clean it up would be greatly appreciated? Or do you think it is better to send to someone who is more experienced???
Blimey! What a great find. You'd be lucky to squirrel something like that out of the junk shops over here in the UK. Well done lad!
I'd just use some Polish...hone...and enjoy
Looks like you have found some hallowed hunting grounds. PM me the locations and I will help you to keep the secret from the rest of these scoundrels. Glad to help......
:y Congrats on those finds!!!
Here they are I spent a little bit of time today cleaning them up.
Jeeze I want that king cutter, lucky!
