    Default Puma 91 No gold blade incision

    Please an help.
    i buy on eBay this Puma 91
    http://www.ebay.it/itm/121305198885
    i noticed that the incision on the blade 'high class' are not golden made.
    Now I'm afraid that is a fake Puma 91 and lost my money.
    could anybody help me to identify my (hope) Puma?

    Very nice purchase nothing wrong with that razor, that's very much a genuine Puma.

    When I notice no gold incision on spine (but normal) I was worried.

    Welcome to SRP. Yes, I think it is the last production because the inlay in the scale (handle) is slightly different from the older ones. It is also possible that someone polished the blade with a bit of metal polish and that would have removed the gold wash. Should be a fine shaver for you. Make sure to get it honed professionally if you are not able to do it yourself. Check out the SRP beginner's guide here for more information.

    I have one exactly like that and the gold wash just isn't very durable. Mine has no gold wash on it either. Those are fabulous razors. Around 10 years ago Puma was about the most talked about razor and considered a holy grail. You don't see them talked about much these days but that doesn't change the fact they are still at the top of the heap.

    But now I'm definitely loss worry about my new razor.
