Any info on my straight

Hello, I bought a straight for the first time about a week ago. I have been DE shaving for a couple of years now. Since I am Hispanic, i tend to get more ingrowns than alot more people and DEs have helped alot. I moved to my first straight, a Wm. Elliott & Co. #19. I think its in pretty good condition, I am just wondering if anyone has any info on it. I am trying to replace the scale since it was broken when it arrived, but i found out that i need to know the size of the blade. Any help would be appreciated.

But superglue (CA glue) can hold horn if only cracked

Goin's Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings doesn't contain any detailed notes on it, but does give dates:

WM. Elliot & Co. Made in Germany c 1880-1918

So, pretty safe to say the razor you have was made at some point within that 38-year time frame.
