Ordered one 2 days ago. Waiting to receive it and test it. Parker's are slightly more aggressive and I've always wanted a butterfly mechanism. I also wanted a real heavy weight razor, and I believe this one is 3.4oz. Not a bad price at $30 with a pack of 10 blades. In my view a real bargain.
I have one, and it's ok, but I've found that I actually prefer a shorter handle with a DE. I have another Parker which I like better which is the 22R. It's cheaper, also a butterfly opening razor, and has a super non-slip handle. I prefer it because with the longer handle my 91R is harder to get at my neck, and I tend to use more pressure, which is not good for me. YMMV.
I had a Parker 98R Barberpole (non-butterfly version of the 99R) for about a year, then it broke (my fault, used too much strength when closing/tightening it).

The only issue I had was blade alignment which I had to do myself for most blades. I remember reading similar comments from other people on this forum. I suppose that the precision used in making these razors is not up to par.
After it broke (again, my own fault), I got an Edwin Jagger 89 Barley Handle and I love it. No issue whatsoever after almost a year of usage.
Cheers.
