Kinfolks Ace Info Please
Hi folks,
I hope you'll indulge a complete naif. I have a Kinfolks Ace straight razor and I know nothing at all about its history, desirability, condition. I took some pictures and while it isn't perfect, I think it is in fairly good condition. Any information shared will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, LinzAttachment 166007Attachment 166008Attachment 166009Attachment 166010Attachment 166011Attachment 166012Attachment 166013Attachment 166014Attachment 166015

Welcome to SRP!
Thats a beautiful razor in very nice condition. No specific on your razor but i can tell you that it was made between 1927-1948. Kinfolks Inc was part of the Case family their knife and razor are nothing short of high quality, and yours looks to be in very nice condition.
Found this page from one of their catalogs and its very interesting that they used Swedish ore.

Martin, thanks so much! I've had this blade in a drawer for decades and in all honesty, I don't know exactly which family member it came to me from. It has quite a sharp edge still and no noticeable nicks or dents in the blade. The grip (scales?) are really nice, perhaps ebony or Bakelite and it strikes me as having a deco look overall. I'd be tempted to have a shave with it but I have a neurological tremor in my right hand, so probably best I not risk it. Great to have a little information on the piece. Thanks again!
